Vision

STONE TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION (ST FOUNDATON) was formed in the year 2003-04 with a vision to work in the back ward areas of Rajasthan where Quarrying activities were taken up. Rajasthan being a mineral rich state has a lot of quarrying & processing activities. These activities are distributed in plenty across the state involving millions of individuals. The foundation started with a vision to improve the lives of such people who are working in such environments. The foundation has worked with labour families working in the quarries and helped them understand on the issues of safety while at work, education & training. Further for upgradation of the families of these labourers the foundation has tried to work with the families and made them aware about important issues like child & women education, health, sanitation, self development, and other important areas. Introduction to latest technologies at work, vocational training at grass root level, labour safety aspects have been focused. The foundation has since diversified in the other fields like poverty � alleviation, Micro Credit Enterprise Development and Capacity enhancement of the marginalized people through introduction of Education, Health & Vocational trainings where they have access to the basic amenities of life on base of social justice. Sectors like the use of renewable energy in villages for better environment, watershed development, agriculture, irrigation have also been covered in the foundation�s area of work.
